I believe the word of God is exactly that: the word of the Living God. It communicates and reveals God's will to each and every one of us. I heard God's word thirty-nine years ago in a small protestant church in North York. My sins were forgiven, and I was made new. The old passed away and a new nature was formed in me. I became a child of God. I was no longer a stranger to God and now I had communion with God. My relationship with my family changed, my relationship with those around me changed. Hope was born in me. I now belonged to God and God was mine.

This has been the experience of thousands of millions of people throughout history, great and small. But, more importantly, this can be your experience once you hear the gospel message. There is not a preacher or an institution that can do this in you. The only one authorized with divine power to do this in you is Jesus Christ.
